A Proposal at the closing ceremony

At the closing ceremony of China 2008 - Summer Olympic Games in Beijing last night, a marriage proposal happened from a Holland sportsman to his GF, also a sportswoman. Hearing of the scream, seeing they being crowded, an audience took photo of this great moment.



It's a such unforgettable memory in such a beautiful background.

Flowers' month

Somedays ago, it's still a small yellow flower, now it's the white dandelion:) Magic happened? It's the first time I saw that the dandelion changes from the flower to the seeds on the same plant.


Nowdays people from the cities like travelling a long way to the countryside, to visit the farm scene. WUYUAN in Jiangxi province is famous by its yellow cole flowers. Actually at the towns nearby, or the edge of the city and town, there're a lot of places growing such yellow flowers. Seems it's easy to plant. It's life attitude is respectable. I can feel the life energy when my eye sight full of the cole flowers.

There're 3 railway stations in Shanghai

1.Shanghai railway station, the biggest one, can be arrived by the underground No.1, trains to many provinces is available there. Previously the station was the unique north end of that line, but in recent years, the north area developed a lot, so No.1 line extended its end, it alts its end of the station and GONG-HE-XIN-LU. The photo was taken at the crossing near it. The Macdonald opens very early, or 24 hours, I remembered I ever stay there to kill time when waiting for the train many years ago.




2.Shanghai west railway station, very small and old one, I ever got off there by mistake once in a cold winter night, very impressive----would nott get on/off there again.
3.Shanghai south railway station, a sweet place to me, for many times, I go home or go visiting hangzhou from there. Previouly it's also old and small, only hangzhou and several cities nearby are available as the destination, but about 5 years ago, it's redesigned and built, very large and beautiful, clean and convenient. It's neighbor is the long distance bus station providing buses to the provinces near shanghai as well as to the touring place like the old anciant towns, actually these two stations are a set of buildings. It can be arrived by underground No.1 and No.3

Snow photos

Here are some snow photos I took 20 days ago. Kids of my family enjoy the heavy snow very much. When I tried to walk on the snow, they asked me to follow the existed footprint, don't leave foorprints in other place, "No pollution to them". Snow was heavy in my hometown, but it did not become the disasiter, we enjoyed the snow very much.

googlemap is awfully amazing

I devoted the whole day today to the html, javascript, xml, google map api, wordpress plugins, to figure out the way to embed the stuctured data in blog, though played chess in idle time.

since some plugin demo pages said "script busy " while they're open, finally I use the iframe.php independent from wordpress files. so other sites can also use.

and I saw the very clear picture of a place I'm looking for.

I'm wondering whether someday I can check whether we can visit people by googleearth, if it also provide time dimension, called google time. terrible.

there's a Chinese say called "头顶三尺有神明", now it would be nice that be reminded "far, far away, there's google satellites"

Recalled many years ago Motorla (or other companies) failed to run its Iridium satellites, google is admirable.

Bakery Exhibition

There're 2 exhibition related to food are held in Shanghai this week. One is candy in Shanghai Mart, another one is Bakery in Shanghai New International Expo Centre. I met less than 20 visitors in the first one, maybe caused by the Shanghai Mart located in city center, the parking place is not big enough. So I got a big surprise while seeing a lot of people in Bakery Exhibition.


It should say it's extremely crowdy. Looks pretty hot in a hot day.

Most of the cakes,breads, chocolates,icecreams on exhibition are art works. There's feeling raised when watching the play of the cooker, life is so beautiful, it's somewhat different from watching the high technology demo. Cooking is more close to life nature and living, while high technology is kind of cool. And, as we know, it's very easy to get crash with some unexpected things in high technology demo, but the cooking player, just enjoy the show with smile on the stage.

5 areas are open for visitors:
- Bakery(cake, moon cake, biscuit and bread ,pastry )production machinery, packaging equipment, Ovens and accessories
- Refrigeration, fermenting and deep-freezing technology, baking and pastry –making machinery, stainless steel products, bakery ware, the metal checking equipment,

Parked Stove

So fun, the stove parked there. It's the parking place near the exit of the underground, many people ride the bike from home to underground, then take underground to the office.

At night, many pedlars will come out and do small businesses at the exit of the underground. One of them, is to bake the red meat. Most of the baking providers are from Xinjiang Province which means the professional place for mutton baking. They usually dress on Wei minority clothes with a white hat. A lot of smoke are raised by the stove, but the smell is delicious, so the buyers are crowdy. Each bunch of mutton costs 2 yuan. One stove can sell about 10 bunches in 5 minutes. A pedlar at the south exit said that he had been in Shanghai for more than 10 years, and have no money to buy the house yet.

There's no guest in day time, so it just parked beside the bikes.

Country side

Many friends asked why I went to there to do the business: it's far from the city center, even birds didn't want to have a stop there.
Well, running a long way after various tough challenging, the country side scene there was pretty attractive. It's the first time I saw the wheat-field. It can raise peace from the heart. And you feel it's so nice the life is, they're growing together, side by side.

Old and big trees

It seems the closer to sun the more senses of protecting plants people have, maybe they need the shadow of the trees:)

All these 3 lived in Ankor wat of Cambodia. There're also a lot of old and big trees in South China, but the photos lost. As a visitor from a concrete forest like Shanghai, I really felt the freedom breath of the lives while seeing the big trees.

The hole of the first tree can hold at least 3 adults. Bears family can live there:). Almost 1/3 was cut, it still grows tall and strong, very respectable.

The 3rd one was one of the fast growing and short life tree. As reading the short life from the introduction, I thought it was 10 or 20 years, but not, it's 300 years, trees have long life then mankind.

it's unbelivable that it only provide one by one uploading feature. (en, I find the upload tool today, it can upload pics in a batch.) tiring. it's pretty much to do, remove the personal photo, and edit some big one to small one, add descriptions.

they're stored in my mobile disk, and most of them are just shared among a small number, family or friend, now many years past, I almost cant tell where was this or that picture taken. some picture can recall my memory for the old days, I'll write some story later.
