Today when I came across a bridge, find the beautiful moon hanging over the road light.

It's looks very big and beautiful, more like painted than real. I kept looking ahead later, to make sure it's really moon not some poster.

It did not disapoint me. Yes, it's real moon.

Because it's early evening around 5:30 pm, so the moon is full, big, not very bright, a little yellow, elegant yellow, with some shadow on it.

2 hour later, it's hanging on the middle of the sky. smaller, brighter, less beautiful.

but still, when I came over a osmanthus whose blossoms are giving off a rich perfume, I looked at the sky again and again, felt that the night is so beautiful, it's not strange why so many poems were about moon in old times. They can see such beautiful moon everywhere. because no high buildings then.

Knowing a friend passed away

At the night before Mid-autumn festival (9/13), I got known that a friend died after she was robbed by the broken-ins with knives.

Shocked. She was decorating her new store for her small business at that moment. We started getting in touch due to her business needs. She said she was looking forward to the great cooperation with me after the decoration completed. Now I would never recieve her message. Shanxi, the province she lived, there're a lot of richers who got rich by the coal mines, and also a lot of poorers who make living by the poor salary from the coal mines.

Her number was the second one in my phone which will never come in again.

The first one was a colleague's. About 4 or 5 years ago, he was at his 26,27 years old, died of liver cancer. He was a software engineer, OT through the year. He left a house that he family can't afford to pay off the loans, a sad-to-death father and a shocked-to-lose-consciousness young brother.

Liu Xiang, Olympic 110-meter hurdles world record holder, quited the game yesterday. The audiences were shocked when he stepped out.

Since he won the gold medal in 2004, he kept running in different games, and won many other good score. At the same time, he was injured. I can't understand why running will make a people injured, maybe the barrier did.

I did not watch his performance in the games, seeing from the AD and TV program, he was a very lovely and sunny boy.

The bridge over the sea

These are two pictures I taken on the bridge while I was driving about 80 km/h, well I will never try that next time. As you know from the title of this posting, the bridge is over the sea, other words, some where besides the road, is the SEA. It's about 39 km, linking my hometown to Shanghai. It's a great project, also can be thought as a magic.

Not many cars on the road that time, yet the speed is strictly limited, the police will send you the fine letter if you run over 120 km/h (maybe 100km/h, I can't remember exactly). I know a guy was so high on the scene and road that he ran over 200 km/h, finally his driver license was withdrawed forever. This speed limitation is actually a care to the driver's life, firstly because this is on the sea, any accident is deathful, secondly because the wind on the sea is wide, when the car is on high speed, it's difficult to control the direction.

It's taken last month.
This is my grandma, standing before the town government office building. She is about 90, a little hunchbacked, can't hear well, walk for long time, except these, she was very healthy. She is cute, loves me very much, and so does I.
She seldom walked far away from home now, this building is about 5 kms away from home. This outing is to watch the photo exhibition of the earthquake to the libarary beside there.

Two Ash bins in the street. They looks very clean. Usually we use the dark green cylinder bin as to collect the rubbish in the street, which looked similar to the post box and easy to get rusty. I like this style. My hometown is changing and growing.

The picture of Olympic open ceremony look very beautiful. The director is Zhangyimou, a famouse Chinese movie director, who help Two actress success, Gongli and Zhangziyi.
I agree that his sense of color is strong.
Many of the program are performed by a lot of people. I thought, that's the advantage of the Chinese society, people can understake the hard dry-on. No other countries can organize people acting like machine.

Dragon Boat Festival

Today is the first day of the entry examination of the university. The date is one month earlier than the one I ever took part in the exam. It's a kind of human caring, because it's hotter in most area of China in July than in June.
Some students of the SiChuan province will also attend the exam later in one month due to the earthquake disaster.

Tomorrow is the the Dragon Boat Festival of the lunar year, Chinese government set it as the public holiday since this year. So People can have an extra free day this weekend: next Monday.

The response of the govenment to the earthquake this time is very quick and open, we can see the report and info through CCTV, newspaper, internet. The prime minister wenjiabao arrived in the earthquake place in 4 hours. The rescue team including the army, policeman, fireman, doctors and the rescue materials are collected from all directions.
I felt like that our government is very reliable, our human rights are respected and well treated.

This afternoon an earthquake of 7.6 happened in SiChuan Province, China.

Some days ago, since May 8th fancy things happened in SiChuan Province, China, there're millions of toads migrated over the road.
The agriculture department said that is a good thing to indicate the environment is changing better. But Today, an huge earthquake happened, many places of the country even Bangkok near China can feel the quake.

It's said this time the heavy degree is the same as the disaster 30 years ago, Tangshan earthquake, in 1976. Fortunately, the construct of buildings are better nowadays and it happened in daytime, till now, not many injuries and deaths are reported.

How important a clear vision is

Today when I was waiting on the cross, several big buses and trucks stopped before me, the line of sight was cut, after almost half an hour, nothing moved.
I don't know what happened, then became a little anxious and nervous. later when the Big ones moved out my eyesight, and I can see the situation clearly, though I still need wait at that moment, I was calm down.

I ask why to myself later, realized that it's important there's a clear vision when you do or wait for anything.

Somedays ago, it's still a small yellow flower, now it's the white dandelion:) Magic happened? It's the first time I saw that the dandelion changes from the flower to the seeds on the same plant.

Nowdays people from the cities like travelling a long way to the countryside, to visit the farm scene. WUYUAN in Jiangxi province is famous by its yellow cole flowers. Actually at the towns nearby, or the edge of the city and town, there're a lot of places growing such yellow flowers. Seems it's easy to plant. It's life attitude is respectable. I can feel the life energy when my eye sight full of the cole flowers.

There're 3 railway stations in Shanghai

1.Shanghai railway station, the biggest one, can be arrived by the underground No.1, trains to many provinces is available there. Previously the station was the unique north end of that line, but in recent years, the north area developed a lot, so No.1 line extended its end, it alts its end of the station and GONG-HE-XIN-LU. The photo was taken at the crossing near it. The Macdonald opens very early, or 24 hours, I remembered I ever stay there to kill time when waiting for the train many years ago.

2.Shanghai west railway station, very small and old one, I ever got off there by mistake once in a cold winter night, very impressive----would nott get on/off there again.
3.Shanghai south railway station, a sweet place to me, for many times, I go home or go visiting hangzhou from there. Previouly it's also old and small, only hangzhou and several cities nearby are available as the destination, but about 5 years ago, it's redesigned and built, very large and beautiful, clean and convenient. It's neighbor is the long distance bus station providing buses to the provinces near shanghai as well as to the touring place like the old anciant towns, actually these two stations are a set of buildings. A person jumped off from his home in the high building recently because of the stock issue. Last year, the first 10 months, many people gained a lot from the stock market. This guy had his work to sell some small things before he entered the stock market, and bought this expensive house with loan. Last year, he entered the stock market, and inscreased his profit almost 100%, then he made the living all depends on it. But recently, the stock market turned green, he can't accept the lose, so end his life by this way.

His input is 30,000, his highest number is ~60,000, now 21,000 was remained in his stock account, so the total lose from the beginning so far is less than 10,000 CNY, really small number. But he gave his life.

He was 38 years old, has a family with young wife, old mother and little daughter.

If you can't lose, then dont go close to the stock market. This is an good advice.

One of my friends' father is an old engineer. Last week when I asked whether they can produce a kind of stainless steel art cup, he provide the design and cost right after we describe the requirement. When I looked at the picture he provided, I can't believe it's drawed by pencil, very neat and tidiness.
I ever saw how the constucture engineer work, they draw blueprint by the 3D software on the computure, then printed it by the large printer. But it's much more amazing that man can draw a product picture like this by hand.

We used to have this topic to write the article in the exam, or discuss the important of the electricity. In our childhood, sometimes we still had power cut arranged by the govenment or the electricity company, so we have prepared the oil lights or candles, or portable flashlights in the home. But in recent 20 years, power cut issues seldom happen, we take lightness for granted, power-on the home electronic appliance as of-course, drink the water from the pipes without saying. When we heard the stories or read the articles about electricity supply lacking in India, we thought it's far far away.

In this winter, many of the places including big cities and small towns, countries, realized that the power are transferred by the high-tension cables.

The design of the the cables only consider the 15 cm snow and ice coverage, but this winter, some places have the ice covered more than 50 cm, which does not happen for 50 or 100 years.

The snow and the Powered-off cause the traffic jams and productive problem, many travellers have to be detained in the station or on the way, many goods are not able to be delivered on time, the water companies also cant run.

It's a big surprise that Stephen Chow will make such science fiction movie. Holly molly, we have a cute one called CJ7 like R2, 3PO now, though it's only good at creating s-h-i-t.

This movie was started in August of 2006, it took 3 years to complete.
Yangtze River is the longest river in China and the third longest river in the world. It is unlikely that "Yangtze River 7" is related to the river and it might be the name of a spacecraft, inspired by China's Shenzhou spacecrafts.

There's a tradition of eating laba rice porridge on the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month. "La" in Chinese means the 12th lunar month and "ba" means eight.

The story of this fetival came over 3,000 years ago.

When Sakyamuni was on his way into the high mountains in his quest（寻求） for understanding and enlightenment, he grew tired and hungry. Exhausted from days of walking, he fainted away by a river in India. A shepherdess found him there and fed him her lunch -- porridge made with beans and rice. Sakyamuni was thus able to continue his journey.

After six years of strict discipline, he finally realized his dream of full enlightenment on the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month. Ever since, monks have prepared rice porridge on the eve and held a ceremony the following day, during which they chant sutras and offer porridge to Buddha. Thus, the tradition of eating Laba porridge was based in religion, though with the passing of time the food itself became a popular winter dish especially in cold northern China.

According to written records, large Buddhist temples would offer Laba rice porridge to the poor to show their faith to Buddha. In the Ming Dynasty about 500 years ago, it became such a holy food that emperors would offer it to their officials during festivals. As it gained favor in the feudal （封建的）upper class, it also quickly became popular throughout the country.

Laba rice porridge（腊八粥） was first introduced to China in the Song Dynasty about 900 years ago.Laba porridge is not only easy to prepare, but also a nutritious winter food because it contains amino acids, protein, vitamins and other nutrition people need. Cooked nuts and dried fruit are good for soothing nerves, nourishing one's heart and vitality, and strengthening the spleen. Perhaps that is why it is also called babao (Eight Treasure) porridge.

High-Tension Cable issue conflicting in Shanghai

Recently this is a hot topic here.

There's High-Tension Cable hanging over the CHUNSHEN urban area of Shanghai, China, the local residents did not know that when they bought the department in this area. In Aug. 2006, Shanghai electricty company announced that electricty capacity will be extended, and provided 3 options to collect the feedback from the residents. Thus the 220,000 volt High-Tension Cable will go through 9 schools and 20 living Subdistricts.
Though it's said that according to the research till now, no proof has been found that it will be harmful to people's health, the residents along the line did not feel comfortable of its existence. The cost of burying the cable into the underground can be counted, but the health is invaluable. According to the industry standard, 20m is the safe distance, currently the nearest distance between the cable to the building is 49m, 76m, from human nature, people fear of this kind of things, it's still too close. So they asked the electricity company to bury the Cable into the underground, there's already examples in other district of Shanghai that it's technically feasible, this is an improved proposal according to thrid option.
However, due to some reason, the company can't agree with this proposal, it insisted on its original proposal, with a little change -- no new high-tension corridor will be created, and existing corridor will be transformed to multi-loop or cable mode.
In Sep. 2007, it started construction without the agreement of the residents, neither had they annouced the construction start. It caused the strong disagreement of the residents, they began to call community together to fight against it, for these reasons:
1. needs to be known about the construction plan, when buying the deparment here, and now
2. public hearing will need to be held before the construction.

Their trying including:
1. legal action, by a lawyer resident.
2. collective signatures petition, letters, emails to the goverment.
3. hanging out the banners with the words "Anti High Tension" in large letters over their windows.
4. zealous demonstration

The electricty company said that the construction program is urgent and legal, but no understanding gained from the the residents. In late November, the conflictment became white-hot, the company broke into the subdistrict, hundreds of the residents met at the basketball court to show their opposition. The police was also involved.

The information was closed in local new report.

Dragon Boat Festival

Sticky rice and dragon boat are two symbols of this festival.

The Dragon Boat Festival, the 5th day of the 5th lunar month, has had a history of more than 2,000 years. It is usually in June in the Gregorian calendar.

There are many legends about the evolution of the festival, the most popular of which is in commemoration of Qu Yuan (340-278 BC). Qu Yuan was minister of the State of Chu and one of China's earliest poets. In face of great pressure from the powerful Qin State, he advocated enriching the country and strengthening its military forces so as to fight against the Qin. However, he was opposed by aristocrats headed by Zi Lan, and later deposed and exiled by King Huai. In his exiled days, he still cared much for his country and people and composed immortal poems including Li Sao (The Lament), Tian Wen (Heavenly Questions) and Jiu Ge (Nine Songs), which had far-reaching influences. In 278 BC, he heard the news that Qin troops had finally conquered Chu's capital, so he finished his last piece Huai Sha (Embracing Sand) and plunged himself into the Miluo River, clasping his arms to a large stone. The day happened to be the 5th of the 5th month in the Chinese lunar calendar. After his death, the people of Chu crowded to the bank of the river to pay their respects to him. The fishermen sailed their boats up and down the river to look for his body. People threw into the water zongzi (pyramid-shaped glutinous rice dumplings wrapped in reed or bamboo leaves) and eggs to divert possible fish or shrimp from attacking his body. An old doctor poured a jug of reaglar wine (Chinese liquor seasoned with realgar) into the water, hoping to turn all aquatic beasts drunk. That's why people later followed the customs such as dragon boat racing, eating zongzi and drinking realgar wine on that day.

Dragon boat racing is an indispensable part of the festival, held all over the country. As the gun is fired, people will see racers in dragon-shaped canoes pulling the oars harmoniously and hurriedly, accompanied by rapid drums, speeding toward their destination. Folk tales say the game originates from the activities of seeking Qu Yuan's body, but experts, after painstaking and meticulous research, conclude that dragon boat racing is a semi-religious, semi-entertaining program from the Warring States Period (475-221 BC). In the following thousands of years, the game spread to Japan, Vietnam and Britain as well as China's Taiwan and Hong Kong. Now dragon boat racing has developed into an aquatic sports item which features both Chinese tradition and modern sporting spirit. In 1980, it was listed into the state sports competition programs and has since been held every year. The award is called "Qu Yuan Cup."

Zongzi is an essential food of the Dragon Boat Festival. It is said that people ate them in the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC). In early times, it was only glutinous rice dumplings wrapped in reed or other plant leaves and tied with colored thread, but now the fillings are more diversified, including jujube and bean paste, fresh meat, and ham and egg yolk. If time permits, people will soak glutinous rice, wash reed leaves and wrap up zongzi themselves. Otherwise, they will go to shops to buy whatever stuff they want. The custom of eating zongzi is now popular in North and South Korea, Japan and Southeast Asian nations.

On Dragon Boat Festival, parents also need to dress their children up with a perfume pouch. They first sew little bags with colorful silk cloth, then fill the bags with perfumes or herbal medicines, and finally string them with silk threads. The perfume pouch will be hung around the neck or tied to the front of a garment as an ornament. They are said to be able to ward off evil.

Ancestor worship is a Chinese tradition dating back thousands of years.
Also known as the Grave-sweeping or Spring Remembrance, Ching Ming ("clear and bright"), is when Chinese families show their respect by visiting the graves of their ancestors to clear away weeds, touch up gravestone inscriptions and make offerings of wine and fruit.

A Tang Dynastie's poem: rainy in ChingMing Day, heartbroken is the passerby one the road. (清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断肠）

Qingming Festival

The Qingming (Pure Brightness) Festival is one of the 24 seasonal division points in China, falling on April 4-6 each year. After the festival, the temperature will rise up and rainfall increases. It is the high time for spring plowing and sowing. But the Qingming Festival is not only a seasonal point to guide farm work, it is more a festival of commemoration.

The Qingming Festival sees a combination of sadness and happiness.

This is the most important day of sacrifice. Both the Han and minority ethnic groups at this time offer sacrifices to their ancestors and sweep the tombs of the diseased. Also, they will not cook on this day and only cold food is served.

The Hanshi (Cold Food) Festival was usually one day before the Qingming Festival. As our ancestors often extended the day to the Qingming, they were later combined.

On each Qingming Festival, all cemeteries are crowded with people who came to sweep tombs and offer sacrifices. Traffic on the way to the cemeteries becomes extremely jammed. The customs have been greatly simplified today. After slightly sweeping the tombs, people offer food, flowers and favorites of the dead, then burn incense and paper money and bow before the memorial tablet.

In contrast to the sadness of the tomb sweepers, people also enjoy hope of Spring on this day. The Qingming Festival is a time when the sun shines brightly, the trees and grass become green and nature is again lively. Since ancient times, people have followed the custom of Spring outings. At this time tourists are everywhere.

People love to fly kites during the Qingming Festival. Kite flying is actually not limited to the Qingming Festival. Its uniqueness lies in that people fly kites not during the day, but also at night. A string of little lanterns tied onto the kite or the thread look like shining stars, and therefore, are called "god's lanterns."

The Qingming Festival is also a time to plant trees, for the survival rate of saplings is high and trees grow fast later. In the past, the Qingming Festival was called "Arbor Day". But since 1979, "Arbor Day" was settled as March 12 according to the Gregorian calendar.

Folks like creating stories, it's said there're laurel tree, a rabbit, a lady in the moon. Following is the story of the festival. ChangE is a greedy woman in the story I heard before, so I like this one, where she is a kind-hearted one.

At that night, we have the habit to eat moon-cake, get family together, it's the 2nd important family day in China, another one is the Chinese New year's Eve.

There're many poems about this festival. A famous one is written by the famous poet Li Bai: raise my head to look at the moon, lower my head to miss the hometown.(举头望明月，低头思故乡）

Additionally, Chang E is now the name of Chinese satellite on board to the moon we recently sent to the space. Have a look at the storyof the one it's named after.

The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, usually in October in Gregorian calendar.

The festival has a long history. In ancient China, emperors followed the rite of offering sacrifices to the sun in spring and to the moon in autumn. Historical books of the Zhou Dynasty had had the word "Mid-Autumn". Later aristocrats and literary figures helped expand the ceremony to common people. They enjoyed the full, bright moon on that day, worshipped it and expressed their thoughts and feelings under it. By the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the Mid-Autumn Festival had been fixed, which became even grander in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). In the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, it grew to be a major festival of China.

Folklore about the origin of the festival go like this: In remote antiquity, there were ten suns rising in the sky, which scorched all crops and drove people into dire poverty. A hero named Hou Yi was much worried about this, he ascended to the top of the Kunlun Mountain and, directing his superhuman strength to full extent, drew his extraordinary bow and shot down the nine superfluous suns one after another. He also ordered the last sun to rise and set according to time. For this reason, he was respected and loved by the people and lots of people of ideals and integrity came to him to learn martial arts from him. A person named Peng Meng lurked in them.

Hou Yi had a beautiful and kindhearted wife named Chang E. One day on his way to the Kunlun Mountain to call on friends, he ran upon the Empress of Heaven Wangmu who was passing by. Empress Wangmu presented to him a parcel of elixir, by taking which, it was said, one would ascend immediately to heaven and become a celestial being. Hou Yi, however, hated to part with his wife. So he gave the elixir to Chang E to treasure for the time being. Chang E hid the parcel in a treasure box at her dressing table when, unexpectedly, it was seen by Peng Meng.

One day when Hou Yi led his disciples to go hunting, Peng Meng, sword in hand, rushed into the inner chamber and forced Chang E to hand over the elixir. Aware that she was unable to defeat Peng Meng, Chang E made a prompt decision at that critical moment. She turned round to open her treasure box, took up the elixir and swallowed it in one gulp. As soon as she swallowed the elixir her body floated off the ground, dashed out of the window and flew towards heaven. Peng Meng escaped.

When Hou Yi returned home at dark, he knew from the maidservants what had happened. Overcome with grief, Hou Yi looked up into the night sky and called out the name of his beloved wife when, to his surprise, he found that the moon was especially clear and bight and on it there was a swaying shadow that was exactly like his wife. He tried his best to chase after the moon. But as he ran, the moon retreated; as he withdrew, the moon came back. He could not get to the moon at all.

Thinking of his wife day and night, Hou Yi then had an incense table arranged in the back garden that Chang E loved. Putting on the table sweetmeats and fresh fruits Chang E enjoyed most, Hou Yi held at a distance a memorial ceremony for Chang E who was sentimentally attached to him in the palace of the moon.

When people heard of the story that Chang E had turned into a celestial being, they arranged the incense table in the moonlight one after another and prayed kindhearted Chang E for good fortune and peace. From then on the custom of worshiping the moon spread among the people.

People in different places follow various customs, but all show their love and longing for a better life. Today people will enjoy the full moon and eat moon cakes on that day.

The moon looks extremely round, big and bright on the 15th day of each lunar month. People selected the August 15 to celebrate because it is a season when crops and fruits are all ripe and weather pleasant. On the Mid-Autumn Festival, all family members or friends meet outside, putting food on tables and looking up at the sky while talking about life. How splendid a moment it is!

In the hall of Washington Space Museum, U.S.A , there's a Chinese kite, following words can be found on the lable besides it: The earliest flight thing are Chinese kite and missile.

Kites can be made of silk, or paper. The simpliest kite I ever made --- actually my father made it to me, is the tile kite, use two bamboo sticks, crossed, paste with a square paper. We climbed up the moutain to fly it at that time. But later in my college life, I found the kites from Shandong province, also very simple, red eagle made of flimsy cotton paper. It can fly up very easy. I ever flied two rolls of the lines, it flied up into the sky until I can't see it .

Weifang in Shandong is a place famouse of the good kite, there's an annual kite festival and a kite museum in Weifang. Take a look at the beautiful kites from there, including some large kites. I'm surprised at these large kites:)

When I started blogging in English, I saw a lot of colorful, lovely, charming stuff on the side bar from other bloggers, I picked up many of them, including best stuff, mybloglog, blogcatalog, Payperpost.

Back to my blogging experience, after several week's blogging, I found my English blog was a bit run-down. this week a piece of news caused hot discussion around, a man refused to agree the Caesarean birth surgery to his sick pregnant (身持ち,임신한, 怀孕的) wife though the doctors perfuit him for 3 hours. finally the woman died with the baby, he agreed when he saw the death, but too late. The possible reason why he did not approve it:
1. can't have more babies.
2. thought she only caught cold, can be cured by medicine,
3. don't have the money ( though the hospital offer free and some patients around even offer 10,000 if he agree, he can't believe)

later the jounlisty researched that they're not legally married. he knew the contact of her relatives -- which can be used for surgery approval -- but he did not provide it to the hospital. I personally doubt this law is unfair to the patients without conscious, maybe this is set to avoid rebuse of the surgery at the begining.

for whatever, it's a tragedy. All the mother are repectable, they take the risk of death when they accept pregnancy.

I devoted the whole day today to the html, javascript, xml, google map api, wordpress plugins, to figure out the way to embed the stuctured data in blog, though played chess in idle time.

since some plugin demo pages said "script busy " while they're open, finally I use the iframe.php independent from wordpress files. so other sites can also use.

and I saw the very clear picture of a place I'm looking for.

I'm wondering whether someday I can check whether we can visit people by googleearth, if it also provide time dimension, called google time. terrible.

there's a Chinese say called "头顶三尺有神明", now it would be nice that be reminded "far, far away, there's google satellites"

Recalled many years ago Motorla (or other companies) failed to run its Iridium satellites, google is admirable.

Recently when my nephew met me, he always invite me to play chess with him. He takes part in the hobby team in school of that, I can hardly win him now, I want to play long with him, but don't want to study chess manual, so I excerised myself by playing with PC in recent weeks.

started from E2-E4, G8-F6, replayed many times, finally I win Chess Nx today, Chess Nx is a very good chess program, quick, neat and wise, User can only play with the computure in this program. I tried 3 kinds of chess programs, this one is the best.

Unlike Pingpang, Chinese football team did not play well in the past years, there're many disappointed stories, several times they lost at the last minute.

So, last night, when the Asian Zone teams for World Cup 2010 were revealed, many football fans were sleepless with sadness: China came to the team with Qatar,Iraq,Australia.

These three seems so strong, champion of the Asian Cup, champion of the Asian Sports, champion of the Austrian Cup, that fans thought Chinese football team comes to the "death team", is doomed to failure now.

On the other hand, just like this team setting, 1/125 possibility came true, "Impossible is nothing", maybe Chinese football team will also give us a big surprise.

A paper plane, paper aeroplane, or paper airplane (Chinese:纸飞机/紙飛機;Deutsch:Papierflieger;Japanese:kamihikōki/紙飛行機) is popular worldwide, since it is one of the easiest types of origami for a novice to master.

How far or how long can you make it fly? I can only make it fly from one side of the room to another side.

The world record for a paper-plane flight is held by Ken Blackburn, a US aerospace engineer. I'm not an artist when I was very little, so all I can remember about mud game is that, kneading it, when it became soft and uneasy to broken, made it like a bowl, then threw it upside down to the ground, there's a sound it will gave out, oh my, I really can't remember what kind of sound now, too simple? Ah, sometimes it's even diffult to make out the sound.

Well, One of my friend is an artist then, she can create dolls from the mud, and painted with oil color, then move it to the oven to make it hard, then brushed with the varnish, so finally the mud became the art product. Games also has it's background.

In this picture, little guys are making tank and pistols, and emulating military scene from the movie, there're a lot of war movies in old that time. Nowadays little boys will not able to create such model then.

When tourists visit China, they often bought some art crafts as gifts back. I'd like to introduce some web site about traditional art product here.

Yesterday when I passed by the People square, I saw an poster of "Spain [f.] We, the cities", it said "One hundred women present Spanish cities and contemporary architechture." so I enterred the exhibition hall and had a tour.

Unexpectedly, there's no architechture showing around, all can I see is ladies standing and talking, seems the background is cut off, and language is in Spanish, Spanish is beautiful language to listen:) but I can't understand one word. So, I only spend less 2 hours there. There're several things impressed,
1. Isabel from google is also one of them, standing near the exit, and the wall before the exit, several LCD is showing google earth, all are very small.
2. not only artechture designer, processor presetning their opinion, but also people from other industry, like firewoman,judge, people who lost of eyesight, nurse, a nurse said, the way with no obstacle will reduce a lot of their workload, otherwise they have to go to the patients' home.

Classical music or pop song

Recently I move my pop song CDs to the store box and only leave the Classical music CDs on the shelf.
Some of them are all Piano, I find this can help one raise peace and easily focus on the things working on.
Old songs can bring people to memories easily, there's a very famous show called "Same song" (同一首歌)， started by CCTV on Jan.27, 2000, played all over the country and also been to USA, Korea, Japan, Canadal.... Many music stars from China mainland, HongKong, TaiWan, and other areas will play the pop songs in the perfomance. Most audiences became very excited when they heard the old songs, some of them are 70s ladies and gentlemen, emigrant many years ago.
Friends or family can sing the song together, so the song is easy to be with the old time; while listen to Classical music, people are usually silent, so that's not easy to keep in touch with old friends or time, it's not historically.

In my childhood, we often play pingpong after school and dinner, and in the weekend. It can be set very easily, desk table or dinner table can be used as the pingpong table, some books or small things can be used as the boundary, and sometimes, if there's no partner available, we can play by ourseleves, ping it to the wall:)

I found a 3D ping pong game from the recommendation of widgets group in blogcatalog
I think it's better to put here than in the side bar. so far my best score is 8:11, the competitor is CPU.

A Story of Loan

I'd like to share a story of a business man. One day the man got a business travel, he drove to the port to take the ship, near the port, he found a bank, entered it and applied for a loan of $10000, with his car mortgaged. The banker processed the application, and let his car parked in the bank storage.
Two weeks later, the man returned from his travel, and went to the bank to retrieve his car. The banker completed the deal, and can't help curiosity: "As we know, you're a millionair, why you'll need take loan of $10000 from our bank?"

The man replied with smile, "Where else only need $1000 parking fee for two weeks?"

Well, I can't remember the exact number in the above story, just remember it's really interesting. Isn't that man a smart one on financial operation?

The set of blowing soap bubble is often sold near the gate of the garden. Walking in the sunshine, blowing bubbles, watching their beautiful dancing movement (ひらひらと舞う姿) and colors, it's a good time. And some of us may have experience playing so at mother's washing time.

Can you blow one in another? I can't. I saw little girl can do so very easily.

In these scenes, although other figures can be visible in the background, the first impression is of a single figure, on which the eye concentrates even while this figure concentrates on a task. There're some scientists also writing some research papers about soap bubble, very interesting, they study the wave, force through soap bubble. And, there's a book avaialbe on Amazon called "The Science of Soap Films and Soap Bubbles (Paperback)
" by Cyril Isenberg. It takes 220 pages to say about the soap bubble:

Did you think of cource the bubble has a short life? ah, we often heard "economic bubbles", not cheerful words, yes, bubbles are easy to break, but if you take special care of it, it can also live long. AEngland physical scientist who is famous for his study on liquid air kept the bubble in a special bottle, away from dusties, dryness, and the shaking of the air, then the bubble can live more than one month. Move amazing, some people can keep it for years. I just know it when do some research for this posting, can't imagine it.

So the first is 滚铁环 ( rolling the iron hoop ). The set to play is made of iron, two components, one is the hoop, and the other is the rod, there's a crook at one end of the rod.
When playing, let the rod hook the hoop, the hoop stand in front of you, then you run, it will also run, like wheels.

Proof of love

Long time no English blogging here. blogspot finally passed through my IP service provider.

It's being colder here. The typhoon scared me and I almost stood wake for 2 nights. I missed my parents so much those days just like little girl.

In my childhood, typhoon often comes. In my small hometown, we have only one TV station, in typhoon season, usually July, Auguest, the TV play would be often interrupted to broadcast the latest typhoon news. Sometimes we dont need go to schoold because we might be flowed to the river or to some where far away.

As for proof of love, I just read some articles and deeply touched, love do really need response, no matter yes or not, that's the proof of the love, at least it can set the starter free.

last time I said something good of wordpress, later I realized that blogger and wordpress maybe compititors, as I'm using blogger well now, I can't take its goodness for granted, I'd like to say some words for it.
the only think I did not like is that it's being very slow to login in and out, seems the analyzing is taking much time, I'm not sure whether this is caused my google Adsense AD in the side bar or because blogger belongs to google.
except this , all other is good. no need to install and free blogspot, remote ftp to your own data space (a cool feature I find very late), widget easy to add...
I did not want to remove the AD though it did not bring me a cent yet but it increase the page ranking, I just found this after I remove it from my chinese one.

Very early this morning, I read a posting by two teachers. The first one posted some comments on the book, and the second one posted some comments on the first one, and their teaching life, he or she mentioned the students around whose family can't afford their study fee.

I can feel their love from heart to the students. And it reminds mine.

I once served in a university, and there're also some students can't well afford their living. And That time, I also thought, I should be a millionair, then help them.

From then on, many years past, I sometimes do some public service, and sometimes offer small help to the disable or the poor around, sometimes feel guilty to mysefl that I did not live well, the thoughts that time almost fade away.

Today it comes vividly to me again.

stop abusing the air condition

As a posting response to proposal of Blogging Against Abuse, I select the topic about air condition. In some place it's running all the time and at every corner when not necessary.

In many company, the air conditions are running busy. It's said that the companies want to create the condition that employees can always dress on one shirt inside in every season. Some public places, like shopping mall, air port, also provide air condition all along the year.

But many times, the air condition makes it so cold, that people inside have to dress on more than what they need outside. It's very easy to make people catch the cold, or get the arthronosos.

Do we have some strong reason to waste the electricity in such cases?

Season's difference is the bliss we got. Some machine may need give out the heat or keep the constant temperature, but for people, it's OK to be more close to the seacon's change.

If there're both machine and people to take care, the air condition needs to be set to service them seperately, so they can be easy to control; and the air condition is only set to service the people, it needs to be able to adjust according to crowd intelligently, no matter automatically or manually, and sometimes we can stop it and open the windows.

In all, to keep a healty life and working environment, to save the electricity and resource, Let's stop abusing the air condition.

Last year when I happened searched a mail addr with my full name online, I found a line with a code beside your mail addr from the search result.

I ever used that code many years ago as nick name.

It's big coincidence.

I wrote a mail to that mail addr to ask who she is like.

She is a sensitive girl, ever lived in a city I lived. The Chinese PinYin of our name is exactly the same, character different though.

The reason why we choose the same code maybe because it's prounciated like our family name, it's not a popular one. I should ask her of this.

The girl recently replied again, and I just recall why I sent a mail to here, interesting.

The code is "xenon", looks similar to xeon.
